Canon Futures

In late 2022, I partnered with the team at Socality to host the Canon Futures in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Canon Futures program is “A 12-month mentorship journey designed to equip passionate, emerging creators and storytellers, ages 18 to 24 with the opportunity to broaden their creative spectrum, expand their knowledge of the business and their craft, create community with peers across Canada, and further develop their skills.” The participants learned from top creators that included Scott Bakken, Jasmine Lorimer, Justin Choquette, Mike Sugianto, Garrett King, Richard Bernardin, Irene Rudnyk, RJ Bruni, Nicole Ashley, and Jonathan Zoeteman. The creators were giving the opportunity learn from their peers and test new Canon Camera gear at The Banff Gondola, The Lake Minnewanka Boat Cruise, and around the town of Banff.
